We had a very comfortable stay, only sorry it was for one night. Our host was delightful and friendly. The breakfast of avocado on toast was "to die for".

"Our two nights were perfect - very peaceful, lovely setting and the room (Bedroom 3) was beautiful and immaculately clean. Katy and all her family were wonderful too. Breakfast was great and the presentation was gorgeous. The afternoon tea and cakes (baked daily) that are offered are not to be missed! All in all I can highly recommend staying here and I know we will be when we visit the area again. "

Tips for other travellers
plenty of places to visit a bit short good restaurants in Ludlow we did find one with good food
We were given a very warm welcome by Lorraine and Katy, and were made to feel ‘at home’ straight away. The cup of tea with a slice of delicious home made chocolate cake and home made choc biscuits (gluten free) were so welcomed after our journey, and gave us an opportunity to chat and learn about the local area.
Our room (1) was outstanding. Very comfortable bed, lovely view of the garden, en suite shower room/toilet with radiator and heated floor (luxury!) Tea and coffee making in the room, with fresh milk available from the fridge in the breakfast room. Flat screen television and two arm chairs.
Now breakfast: what a treat - choices of cereals and home made compote (warm and delicious) and good choices of cooked breakfast including fresh eggs from the hens in the garden.
Our stay was fabulous and we highly recommend The Graig and would like to visit again.
Tips for other travellers
There are many places of interest in Ludlow and this information is available from The Graig. We went to the Unicorn pub (less than 10 minutes drive) which had a very good menu for evening meals and the landlord was very pleasant and helpful. The pub is an interesting old building and the atmosphere inside is vibrant.
